As an apathetic millennial, reading and writing keeps me focused and endlessly curious. For me, reading is a lifestyle while writing is an outpouring of words that are imagined and organized in a creative style. In a plethora of interests, reading and writing are on top of the list along with film, traveling, swimming, the uke, etc.
I take pleasure in good conversations – the exchange of ideas, thoughts, opinions; for which aims to share and engage rather than prove a point to win. A discourse that may be likened to the time of Zeno of Cyprus, Marcus Aurelius, and Thomas Aquinas. Or, be in a round table with Barack Obama, Jacinda Ardern, Jerry Seinfeld, Kate Reid, Cate Blanchett, Phoebe Waller-Bridge… My list can go on. The flow of exchange is what excites me – the back and forth realization as you listen and speak that indeed, perspective in solo is conceited and limited. And, a cuppa on the table makes it a dream place to be.
