Griffin & Phoenix (2006)

Griffin & Phoenix (2006)

Griffin & Phoenix (2006) is enjoying the last chance of life and love.

The chemistry of Griffin (Dermot Mulroney) and Phoenix (Amanda Peet) is adequate but the progress of the plot does not transcend the viewers. It leaves the audience in fleeting emotional realities and spur of the moments. Most of the adventures made by Griffin and Phoenix are morally and lawfully damaging – sex without marriage, sneaking into a theater and train, vandalism and private property (cars) destruction. Terminal illness does not vindicate one to be personally and socially destructive.

Life is such an odd thing…an irrefutable fact. An educated and reflected choice transforms the oddity of life into a life worth living.

Living life to the fullest is transcendent.
