Horrible Bosses (2011) is as horrible as the bosses in Dave Harken (Kevin Spacey), Dr. Julia Harris (Jennifer Aniston) and Bobby Pellitt (Colin Farrell). Its excessive and senseless banter saturates the already dry and raunchy script. It makes one to assume how cheap and insulting it is for the makers of the movie to think that a highly accomplished cast will make up for the incessant outburst of mockery. A movie not worthy of one’s time and money. A downgrade to one’s integrity and level of consciousness.
While the movie is a parade of lows and disappointment, it reminds us that a problem desperately fixed through a crime is never a solution. It adds greater pain to injury.
It also challenges everyone specially those in authority to be kind and considerate to the minority. Extreme stress and annoyance by an authority can result to drastic change of behavior and inconceivable tragedy. Instead of the best, the worst of a person may surface.
Indeed, amorevolezza (loving-kindness). Love never fails. Be kind always.
