What made me decide to watch Couples Retreat is that I was looking for a movie that is funny with spot-on spirituality. It gave me the impression that it might be the same with Four Christmasses where Vince Vaughn also starred. Disappointingly, this movie was dull, flat, and unconvincingly funny. Though this movie may remind couples to value the commitment they have made, the way this movie was presented failed to take the message across and create a deep spiritual impact.
